‘Scream Queens’ season 2 promo highlights the patients

To date, we’ve come to learn quite a bit about the second season of “Scream Queens,” and that includes a new hospital setting, some new characters (including ones played by John Stamos and Taylor Lauter), and also some familiar faces who are coming back in some form, whether it be Hester or Chad.

In the new promo below (via TVLine), the show puts the majority of its focus on something a little bit different, but something that will of course be very much important: The patients. They appear to be a real motley crew, and some of them are suffering from some rather unusual (but terrible) conditions. We figure that a certain aspect of this is going to be in order to amp up the horror element of the show, since inherently your mind will likely gravitate towards any of these people being the ones responsible for the heinous things at the center of this show.

Hopefully at some point in the early going this season, we’ll get a little bit more of a sense as to some of the particularly-creepy stuff that could be happening within these walls over the course of the season. We imagine that a key component of that is going to be another killer, but who knows? This is a show that does tend to find new ways to surprise, and we have to think that they would not have even made this big change unless there were some interesting plans that they were going to hand out.
