‘Big Brother 18’ live feed spoilers: Corey’s plan and how to stop it
Last night on “Big Brother 18,” the predictable happened: Corey won a Head of Household competition that was largely designed for him, given that it was the old “pour a bunch of liquid in a bowl” challenge that tends to benefit athletic guys with longer legs.
With that, we’re also getting a sense of some predictable nominations that will be coming up later this afternoon: Victor and Paul. Corey feels like it makes more sense to go to the final four with James and one of the remaining Sitting Ducks as opposed to both Victor and Paul, which may be especially true since he can’t play for the next Head of Household. That would put even more pressure on him and Nicole to win the all-important final four Veto that matters more than anything else.
Is there a case to be made for Corey evicting Nicole? Absolutely, but probably not yet. It makes more sense for her to consider either doing it or allowing someone else to with one of the next couple of evictions, that way he can claim to the jury that he had a hand in many of her decisions. This is of course assuming that Corey is a smart player, and we’re not so sure of that. We do at least know that he is probably not as committed to a showmance outside of the game as she is.
Ultimately, the one way to turn things around on Corey completely is this: Have James win the Veto and then use it on either Paul or Victor. Natalie did want him to work with one of them, but we don’t see that happening. He’s too close to Nicole, and we don’t have any real faith in James winning a competition that doesn’t involve a wall of some sort.
