‘Mr. Robot’ season 2, episode 11 preview: The two-part finale begins

For everyone out there who enjoys “Mr. Robot,” we do feel like we’re gearing up for a huge emotional punch. The final two episodes are coming up over the next couple of weeks, and through these, we’ll have a chance to figure out precisely what Elliot’s endgame is.

We know seeing the words “anything is possible” on an article are cliche and a total cop-out, but can you really convince us of anything otherwise here? The one thing we can preface it with is that whatever is possible is probably grounded in something, whether it be a trail of breadcrumbs or a reference we previously missed. This show is smart enough to surprise, and clever enough to not have us realize that the information was right in front of us the entire time.

As for the synopsis for part 1, it is as cryptic as you would expect:

“angela makes an unexpected acquaintance. elliot does the same. dom engages in an interesting ama.”

In the opening of the premiere, of course we are hoping to see a little bit of a continuance of what we saw tonight, in particular with the shooting at the diner. Is Darlene or Cisco gone? We know Dom made it out alive since she was the one who dinged the assassin, but due to that oh-so-clever camera angle, that is all we know … at least for now. Perhaps the coming days will offer up some further guidance. The aftermath of Angela and Elliot’s kiss could be interesting, but this is hardly a romance show.
