‘Supernatural’ season 12 spoilers: Adam Rose set to return

Just in case “Supernatural” season 12 was not getting you excited enough already, we now come bearing some other great news about one particular guest star: Adam Rose is coming back!

As first reported via TVLine, the former “Veronica Mars” actor is going to be coming up on an upcoming episode as Aaron Bass, a valuable individual given that Sam and Dean Winchester could be forced to battle Hitler of all people. This story first surfaced back in season 8, as Aaron was a descendant of someone fighting the Thule Society, an evil organization attempting to bring back Hitler into the present.

Based on the fact that we’re getting this story again now, there is a good chance that they could be successful.

If this does end up being the primary focus of one of the upcoming episodes, we do think that this certainly qualifies “Supernatural” when it comes to having one of their strangest and most out-there stories that they have told. Also, it’s rather nice that new showrunners Andrew Dabb and Robert Singer have an interest in revisiting old ideas and concepts that have not been touched on in some time. While we cannot sit here and say whether or not this episode will be memorable just yet, we do at least admire the risk-taking and certainly hope that it pays off.

The new season will premiere on October; hopefully before that time, we’re going to have some other news when it comes to what’s ahead.
