‘Major Crimes’ season 5, episode 11 video: A longer look at ‘White Lies: Part 1’
On this past episode of “Major Crimes,” we were introduced in parts to the components of the upcoming “White Lies” arc, one that seems to involve a vast conspiracy that goes beyond some recent deaths. The team could be on the cusp of a vast criminal conspiracy, and solving the puzzle could be the key to ensuring the safety of many people in the safety.
As for what the team needs to do in order to secure said safety, that may be a little bit more of a challenge based on some of the information that we’ve seen. The promo below hints at the concept of “making the deal with the devil,” helping someone horrible in an effort to get to the never level. If this involves helping serial killer Dwight Darnell in some way, odds are that it would make almost anyone’s skin crawl.
The one thing that this promo does not hint at (but we know to expect) is an extremely level of danger for at least a few characters. Most notably, we’re referring to Rusty’s therapist Dr. Joe, who could somehow find himself in grave jeopardy by the time we make it to the end of the first part. Given that there are two more installments following this one, there is really not too much that you can expect to conclude over the course of this hour. It may not be as long as the “Hindsight” arc, but at least it is compelling in its own way.
