Is ‘The Real Housewives of New Jersey’ new tonight on Bravo? More Teresa Giudice drama

Over the past several weeks, you’ve had a chance to see the story on “The Real Housewives of New Jersey” begin again, in particular when it comes to seeing Teresa Giudice start to discover her new-found freedom. She’s gotten out of jail and lost her ankle bracelet, but in the process, saw that despite all of the distance between now and some old wounds, they have not completely healed. In particular, there still could be some trouble between her and Jacqueline Laurita.

Unfortunately, you’re not going to see much of the story continue to unfold on Bravo this week — due to it being Labor Day Weekend, the network is opting to not air another new episode on Sunday. Given that many people have Monday off, this will feel largely like a Sunday and the ratings would suffer in the event it was on. Networks are good at doing this sort of research in advance in order to prepare for what is next.

Just in case you do want to see what lies ahead, the synopsis below (via TV Guide) gives you a good sense as to what is coming up when the show returns on September 11:

“Unexpected visitors arrive for Teresa’s book signing. Meanwhile, Melissa focuses on her marriage by throwing a family dinner; Dolores’ business partner tries to fire her up; and Jacqueline gets inside perspective into her husband’s new business venture.”

Hopefully, by the time we make it to the end of this episode we’re going to have a little bit more insight as to what is coming the remainder of the season. Also, hopefully we’ll have a video preview for this episode soon.
