‘The Flash’ season 3 spoilers: Will Barry, Iris come back to each other — again?

No matter what world Barry and Iris appear to be in on “The Flash,” one thing remains fairly consistent: The two find a way to be romantically intertwined. Somehow, someway, they tend to come back to each other, and this could be once again what happens on “Flashpoint,” the upcoming premiere episode airing on The CW next month.

The photo above doesn’t give you much, but we do think that it represents hope that Barry will eventually be able to head back to his world and get closer to a relationship with the real Iris West he grew up with.

As for how things start off with this particular alternate-universe Iris, the simple answer to that is “probably not well.” After all, you just have to remember for a minute here that with Barry’s parents still alive, there is no reason for him to go and live with Joe West. As a result of that, there is a less of a reason for the two to ever spend any time together. This is something that Barry will have to navigate, but it is one of many things that we expect over the course of the remainder of this arc. We imagine that there are many more hurdles that are still going to need to be crossed in the event that Barry is going to be able to make it back home. We have a sinking suspicion that somehow, the Reverse-Flash is going to be involved since we know that he will be hanging around somewhere.
