‘Scream Queens’ season 2 video: Emma Roberts, Taylor Lautner, cast set up what’s next

The second season of “Scream Queens” is coming to Fox later this month, and if you weren’t excited before, hopefully the video below is a way to propel you in that direction!

In this particular clip, you can see Emma Roberts, Lea Michele, Jamie Lee Curtis, and newcomer Taylor Lautner all speak out a little bit about where the story is going moving forward following the insanity of season 1. You’ve also got a few scenes in here to help sweeten the deal.

What’s one thing we’ve learned? Specifically, it is that Cathy herself convinced the Chanels to come to work at her hospital, as they are all pursuing careers now in medicine — which may be the most ironic thing ever given that all they care about more often than not is themselves. Lautner and Rob Lowe play doctors at the institution, and we certainly imagine that they will be getting into at least a few hijinks (not to mention possible romances) over the course of the season.

For those of you wondering if the only returning cast members are the ones featured in this video, rest assured that this is not the case. More will be coming up at some point, and they will add to a season that is being described both as funnier and also darker than the first one. Specifically, we think “upping the ante” is precisely the right word for what the show is trying to do.
