‘Gotham’ season 3 video: Ivy 2.0, (possible) Killer Croc in latest promo

With the new season of “Gotham” coming to Fox later this month, the network apparently decided on one priority more so than any other: Making the villain threat loom larger than ever before. If you thought season 2 was dangerous, think again.

For the time being, the biggest threat to hit the city in the immediate future is Fish Mooney, given that she has returned with a purpose, and that seems to be figuring out a way to build an army of apparently “people like her.” Following the experiments done on her / her resurrection at Indian Hill, it is certainly possible that she now fashions herself as the leader of many of these mutated people. If that turns out to be the case, it’s definitely a pretty dangerous thought.

Also in this promo, you’ve got the first video look at Poison Ivy 2.0 (played by Maggie Geha and pictured above), and also a brief shot of what could be an early version of Killer Croc. We’re glad that the show isn’t shying away from him just because the character was in “Suicide Squad” earlier this summer.

In terms of more established people, Bruce Wayne is going to be faced in the early going with one of the most important decisions of his life, and elsewhere, Jim Gordon will look to find his precise place in this universe after everything he went through in season 2. What remains a mystery, at least for now, is the status of one Lee Thompkins, who we know is returning.
