‘NCIS’ season 14 spoilers: Emily Wickersham shares first photo of Duane Henry’s return!

Over the course of the summer, we got the confirmation that Duane Henry was going to be back on “NCIS” for season 14 in the role of Clayton Reeves. Not only that, but that this time around, he would be a series regular!

The twist? You weren’t going to see him right away. Henry is not going to be in the first few episodes of the season, which we imagine is a pre-planned move on the producers’ part to ensure that you are not meeting too many people all at one time and getting overloaded as a result. Jennifer Esposito and Wilmer Valderrama are going to be both debuting in the premiere, and the episodes to follow could provide us with some further opportunities to get to know them as characters better.

We are pleased, however, to report that he is now officially back on set! The photo below comes from the Twitter account of star Emily Wickersham (Ellie Bishop), who confirmed that Henry is now back at work. It looks like he could also have on an NCIS vest, just in case anyone is curious.

As for what sort of stories lie ahead for these characters old and new, that remains to be seen. Our hope is that some of these people bring an influx of fantastic new energy to the series, while at the same time giving us an opportunity to further enjoy what was great about it in the first place.
