‘America’s Got Talent’: The Passing Zone returns as wildcard act
Last week, we labeled The Passing Zone as one of the potential “America’s Got Talent” wildcard acts to watch alongside Julia Scotti and others. Now, we’re thrilled to say that it is official: You’re going to see the jugglers back in action!
It’s now been confirmed that the duo, comprised of Jon Wee and Owen Morse, are going to be performing on Tuesday’s show. Much like last season, the show had a dilemma that with only 21 semifinalists, they had to name another participant so that there would be an equal number of acts in both shows. We definitely get and approve of the choice, given that they’re very entertaining and will add more variety. Granted, we do think that any wildcard act at this point would have an uphill battle, but at least these two will be entertaining and anything can happen.
What does make the choice all the trickier is that these guys are now going to be going head to head against fellow juggler Viktor Kee for a spot in the final round. Granted, they are about as different as different can be when you’re talking about this particular talent. The Passing Zone is much more comedy-based, while Viktor tends to go for performances that are a little more visual and emotional. Will they split votes? We have to find out first if they even have the same audience.
Do you think that The Passing Zone is the right choice for the wildcard? Share below, and stay tuned! We’re going to have our postmortem up soon for why some other acts were eliminated recently, and there’ll be some contestant rankings and much more in the coming days. All of that can be found at our archive link.

I would have given it to Haro. Passing Zone were already on AGT back in Season 1. Give someone else a shot, guys. And their most recent performance was pretty lame and required no talent at all. What was with the fake bowling balls?

I agree completely with Ethan’s comment.
