‘Pretty Little Liars’ season 7, episode 11 preview: Return date speculation for Lucy Hale, cast

Tonight, “Pretty Little Liars” is ending its very last summer run of episodes, and the thought of that is emotional in itself. To think, we’re writing this without even seeing the finale yet, and we’re sure that there are going to be some more fireworks and emotion that come out of watching that.

The purpose of this particular article is to at least offer up a rough answer to one very important question, and that is when could this series eventually end up returning to Freeform with new episodes.

If you’re looking for a specific date, you’re going to be disappointed given that the network has not even come close to revealing that just yet. However, at the same time they have at least offered up that the series starring Troian Bellisario, Lucy Hale, Ashley Benson, Shay Mitchell, and Sasha Pieterse will be coming back at some point during the month of April.

Why so late? That’s a good question, given that the series typically returns in January, and for whatever reason Freeform is holding back. Maybe there wasn’t room on the winter schedule, or they think the ratings will be stronger here. Or, maybe they wanted to use this show’s series finale as a proper launching bad for “Famous in Love,” the next series from executive producer Marlene King, which is coming at some point next summer.

One way or another, you better be prepared to say goodbye to the Liars, and hopefully you’re going to have answers to all of your burning questions.
