‘The Blacklist’ season 4 spoilers: More news on premiere episode
Sure, we have had an opportunity to see here and there some news regarding “The Blacklist,” but today marks the first time that some official written details have surfaced!
Below, you can see courtesy of NBC the first synopsis for “Esteban,” the season 4 premiere airing on September 22 and one that will feature primarily Raymond Reddington doing whatever he can in order to find Liz Keen. As you likely remember, she was abducted at the end of last season by a very dangerous man named Alexander Kirk:
“After Liz (Megan Boone) is abducted by a man claiming to be her father, Red (James Spader) sets out to find her at any cost. Meanwhile, the Task Force grapples with the shocking news that Liz is still alive.”
This realization between the Task Force and Liz is something we’ve been incredibly excited to see for a number of different reasons, but one of the biggest ones is simply that it proves these characters with an opportunity to see if they can forgive her for something like this. While it may not be easy for them at first (everyone wants to think that they are the person worthy of being confided in), at the same exact time they have to be aware that she was in an extremely precarious spot and it would be incredibly difficult for her to tell the truth to anyone. Her life, and the future of her child, was at risk. Any parent will tell you that protecting that particular loved one is more important than just about anything else.
