For those of you excited to finally learn the name of the next Bachelor, good news: You’re not going to have to wait too much longer!
In a post on Twitter, show creator Mike Fleiss confirmed what Sean Lowe posted last night: The new leading man will be revealed on “After Paradise.” Fleiss made it clear that his name will be announced first on his account, but who knows how far in advance of the show that will be? It could be just two minutes before the guy hits the stage.
Ultimately, we’ve put Luke Pell as the picture for this article because we’re hedging our bets and feel fairly confident that he is the guy the producers are going to bring out tonight. While Chase McNary understandably has his fans, it feels like Luke is really the guy with the momentum, the story, and history on his side. He fits into a regional demographic that ABC loves, and it certainly also looks great for them that they are supporting a veteran.
One other sign that Luke could be the new lead is simply how much the guy has been hitting the gym as of late. Have you seen his Instagram lately? Typically it is a tradition for the leading man to be insanely ripped so that producers can jam in as many different shirtless B-roll scenes as possible.
To us, ultimately the leading man is only what makes part of the season. The real action and drama comes out of whoever the producers choose to cast as the contenders.
