‘Major Crimes’ season 5, episode 11 preview: The three-part summer finale event begins
While another TNT show in “Rizzoli & Isles” is officially saying goodbye next week, “Major Crimes” will be beginning to do in its own way. The difference is that it is only saying goodbye for the summer, and there are still two more episodes to come after “White Lies: Part 1.” They’re just all connected. This is the show’s way of doing a smaller version of the whole “Hindsight” arc that they started off last season, and hopefully this time around they’ll somehow manage to cram in as much of the case storyline as possible mixed in with the personal stuff. (In this case, the reality is that “White Lies” is largely an extension of what we saw tonight.)
The biggest and most dangerous teaser to come out of the synopsis below is the thought that Dr. Joe could be in some mortal danger as the detectives do their best to root through the case of a serial killer:
“In attempting to clear up lose ends from their investigation of a gang of White Supremacists, Major Crimes detectives audit the trial of serial killer Dwight Darnell, and end up facing their most deadly case ever while Rusty’s psychologist, Dr. Joe, faces an unexpected confrontation that leaves his life in jeopardy.”
Our hope here is that by the end of this episode, we’re going to have a few more surprises that pop in out of nowhere and shock us beyond this synopsis — so long as none of them involve the death of the Dr. Joe character, we figure we’ll be happy in the end.

Buzz was awesome tonight with the prisoner. I have not understood why Buzz is treated kinda bad by Provenza and is such an odd duck. I hope they let his character loosen up and be a bit more normal eventually. I really like this show and hope they keep it on for more seasons.
