‘Bachelor in Paradise 3’ video: Caila Quinn discusses drama with Jared Haibon, Ashley Iaconetti

There have been a few storylines that have played out this season on “Bachelor in Paradise,” but one in particular we’d say has dominated above all others: Ashley Iaconetti’s dating life. She has cried often, both over her lack of reciprocated feelings for Jared Haibon and then also the arrival of Caila Quinn, who arrived in Paradise and developed an interest an him. The two have been paired up, and conflict has come up time and time again as a result of it.

As it turns out, though, there may be a little more of a reason for Ashley’s tears than just what you see on the surface; as it turns out, she’s also upset because apparently there was a conversation between her and Caila before the show that she wouldn’t ask out Jared if they were there together. This is something that Caila confirmed to People Magazine, but offered up a reason why she chose to do it anyway:

“She and I had a conversation before where she [said she had] very strong feelings for him, and I promised I wouldn’t go on a date with him. But there’s something about when you meet someone for the first time, and I wanted to give that a chance. The show is ultimately about love, and I [made that decision].”

Caila also made it clear that she did not know that Ashley was going to be arriving mere hours after she did, which we feel was probably just producers’ way of throwing a grenade into the situation and causing all sorts of chaos.

Is there hope for the madness to end? It seems so, mostly because of the impending arrival of Wells Adams, someone who could ask Ashley out and change the course of events in Paradise in a rather big way.
