‘Dancing with the Stars 23’ rumors: ‘Brady Bunch,’ ‘7th Heaven’ stars reportedly on board

Over the past few days we’s certainly heard a wide array of “Dancing with the Stars” cast rumors, whether it be about Ryan Lochte, Amber Rose, Terra Jole from “Little Women: LA,” or “Babyface” Edmonds. None of these names are necessarily confirmed, but there’s some good evidence that many of them could be taking part. The name JoJo Fletcher has also floated around following “The Bachelorette” this past season, but things have been a little more quiet there the past few days.

Given that the show does like to cast at least a couple of Stars to appeal more to classic TV fans and older viewers, the latest rumored names per Entertainment Tonight don’t surprise us too much at all.

Maureen McCormick – Marcia, Marcia, Marcia! If it’s true, we could have another star of “The Brady Bunch” on the series after Florence Henderson previously took part in the program. This gig is nostalgic and fun, so we’d have no problem with her being on board.

Beverley Mitchell – She appeared over over 200 episodes of “7th Heaven” and then also “The Secret Life of the American Teenager.” For TV viewers of the late nineties, there could be some nostalgia associated with her here.

Emma Samms – How about a good ol’ fashioned soap star? The “General Hospital” actress could be added, and we’d be more than fine with this given that it used to be more traditional to have them on board than the flurry of reality TV personalities we see these days. We’re actually fine if we see fewer of them, given that they are not exactly the show’s demo.
