‘Fear the Walking Dead’ season 2, episode 9 video: Madison continues searching for Nick

Through most of this past episode of “Fear the Walking Dead,” we saw the evolution of the world through Nick’s eyes. In the wake of Celia’s compound going away, he wanted to find a new place for himself where his ideology towards the dead was more embraced. By the end of the episode, it looked as though he had in part found that.

In turn, Madison is going to be doing everything that she can in order to find him. The sneak peek below for Sunday’s “Los Muertos” focuses primarily on Kim Dickens’ character leading the way as she does whatever she can in order to ensure that she finds Travis and Nick. Unfortunately for her, she is not making much progress no matter where she looks. Eventually, Strand and Alicia have to convince her that maybe there is another way, since this search is proving fruitless and the truck is more or less running on fumes at this point. They’ve got to figure out another way to go about this.

To us, some of the drama here is not so much if we are going to see a reunion between the characters, but when. After all, you have to assume that the series is going to want to throw many of these people on the same screen again, given that they’ve got this history and with that comes great conflict. It’s mostly a questioning of timing, and how you make them all grow so that when the reunion comes, it’s as dynamic and full of conflict as possible.
