‘Murder in the First’ season 3, episode 9 video: It all comes to a head for Terry, Hildy

There are only a matter of episodes left before “Murder in the First” comes to a close, so don’t be surprised if everything hits the fan before the closing credits. Based on the sneak peek below for “Rise of the Phoenix,” this seems almost like a guarantee that it will happen. You’ve got a few relationship developments crammed in here somewhere, but the top priority, at least for now, may be wrapping up some cases. After all, look at it this way: You’ve got the Normandy Parker case that needs resolution, and then also Sieltti’s trial. It’s clear that not everything is going well in there for him to date, but that could change on a dime knowing this guy.

If you haven’t seen the official TNT synopsis yet, it may also give you a little insight into what lies ahead:

“When a promising new clue is uncovered, Terry and Hildy push forward in hopes of finally solving the Normandy Parker conspiracy. Siletti pulls out all the stops in his crusade against the system he championed as district attorney. Hildy’s home life continues to spiral downward.”

Given that the show’s future beyond these final episodes remains unclear, there are a few pieces of advice we can offer up for you. For one, savor ever scene, since you don’t quite know if there will be another one like it. Also, watch live, and encourage all of your friends to do the same. Given that this is a show that doesn’t necessarily get a ton of media promotion, it needs as much of a grassroots effort as humanly possible.
