‘NCIS’ season 14 spoilers: Could a McGee – Delilah wedding be on the horizon?

It feels that we’ve certainly been aboard the Delilah bandwagon on “NCIS” for quite some time. As a matter of fact, she was one of those characters (same goes for Abigail Borin) who we would have been fine seeing promoted to a much larger role on the series.

While that does not appear to be happening, it does at least look like we’re getting further confirmation that McGee is cementing his future with her! According to a report from TV Guide, the character (who has been promoted to senior field agent in lieu of Tony’s departure from the team) is likely going to propose to his longtime girlfriend at some point in the coming season. From there, we come to the next step in the wedding, and it is relatively likely that could happen in the near future, as well.

From there, the site of course acts a question that many fans would wonder: Does this mean that we could see some sort of Michael Weatherly return? We’re sure that he will be rather busy with “Bull,” but we know that personally, we’d love it given that DiNozzo would probably want to be there for his friend. Fingers crossed, but we obviously got a lot of hoops to jump through before we get there. For one, McGee and Delilah have to actually make it to the altar first.

On a personal level, we’re just glad to see some movement on the personal life of one of the show’s major characters. We do have this from time to time, but often it is in small doses.
