‘Power’ season 3, episode 7 video: Why are Ghost, Tommy at odds?

While it may not be romantic in the way that we’ve seen many other relationships on “Power,” you can certainly make the argument that the bond between Tommy and Ghost is the most important one on the show. There is such an extensive history there, and while there have been ups and downs aplenty, they do have a tendency to make their way back to each other over time.

Now, let’s go ahead and present you with the promo below, which makes it clear that there are some more stumbling blocks ahead for the pair. Due to the betrayal at the end of this past episode with “Dean,” Ghost now finds himself in the position where he’s back in the game, and completely at the mercy of someone else. He has to protect his family, but in doing so he becomes a version of himself that he’s been trying to step away from.

As for how Tommy factors into this, let’s just say that he has found his own way of doing things without Ghost around, and now that they’re working together once more, his new-found independence could leave the two at odds. Maybe Ghost won’t be so keen in dropping people off of roofs in bubble wrap in the way Tommy did … or maybe the arguments are a little more procedural. Either way, watch out for it Sunday.

Also, get ready for further tension between Ghost and Angela, who could still have some face-time despite their recent breakup. She’s feeling the pressure at at work, mostly because of the suspicion that a mole led to the escape of Lobos.
