‘Bachelor in Paradise 3’ spoilers: Which couple is taking the next step?
There are a few different things about this particular “Bachelor in Paradise” story that surprise us. It’s not often that you hear about post-season success for a couple during the season, and that increases exponentially when you think for a minute about them being lightning rods for controversy.
Specifically, we’re talking here about Josh Murray and Amanda Stanton, who managed to land an Us Weekly cover story and interview despite the two technically still being on the show. It’s an interesting choice, but apparently production doesn’t have too great of a problem with it. Josh even reveals to the publication that the two, who are still together, are living in the same place in Orange County:
“Things are going amazing, … I 100 percent believe that Amanda is somebody I could spend the rest of my life with.”
Stanton also makes it clear that Josh has been “sweet and thoughtful and caring” to her throughout their relationship, and that she has no plans to read the infamous book by Andi Dorfman that has spawned a great deal of conversation on the show.
This story is coming up at a rather-interesting time, given that this coming week’s stretch of episodes could end up being the most controversial ones yet for Murray. Previews have shown him and Nick Viall, who competed with him for Dorfman’s affection, getting into some sort of heated argument. Several people in Paradise this season have questioned Josh as he pursues this romance. This interview may be in part a way to share their own side of the story, and control a little bit more of their destiny than they would otherwise.
