‘The Big Bang Theory’ season 10: ‘Pretty Little Liars’ actor could be show’s Flash
Apparently, “The Big Bang Theory” is not set in the same universe as “The Flash” and “Supergirl,” which we’re sure is a grace disappoint to everyone. (Or, it’s pretty much assumed since this world is largely portrayed as real life.)
In a post on Twitter, Mayim Bialik made it clear that Brandon Jones, who is best known as Andrew from “Pretty Little Liars,” could be playing a version of The Flash on an upcoming episode. Given the love the the series has for the character, it’s hardly a surprise that they would want to put him in the flesh. There was a storyline early on about many of the guys all dressing up as the Flash for Halloween, Sheldon wears many shirts with the Flash logo on them, and there was a particularly contentious episode with him and Bialik’s Amy where he spent more time focusing on whether or not he should watch the CW version over whether he should enjoy being in the moment with her.
Are we a little surprised to see that “The Big Bang Theory” didn’t have Grant Gustin, John Wesley Shipp (the original TV flash), or even the movie Flash in Ezra Miller stop by? Well, maybe they did and the schedules didn’t work out. Or, they just thought it’d be more fun to do their own thing, or this is such a story that it would make it unbelievable for one of these actors who exist in the show’s canon to stop by.
New episodes of “The Big Bang Theory” premiere this fall on CBS, and above all else we’re excited to see what Jones brings to the role and what the specific story is.
