Sarah Paulson of ‘American Horror Story’ joins Ryan Murphy’s ‘Feud’
What we have for you today is further evidence that Sarah Paulson may be secretly cloning herself in order to find the time to appear in as many different Ryan Murphy shows as possible. How else do you explain the latest news coming out?
In a post on Twitter, the prolific showrunner announced that the actress, who also appears regularly on “American Horror Story” and “American Crime Story,” is going to be playing Oscar-winning actress Geraldine Page on his upcoming series “Feud” chronicling the history between Joan Crawford (Jessica Lange) and Bette Davis (Susan Sarandon). It was also reported recently that Oscar-winner Catherine Zeta-Jones will also be appearing in the series.
Given that we were only joking about Paulson having a little in common with “Orphan Black,” we have to assume that her schedule on both “Feud” and “American Horror Story” are flexible enough that she can bounce between both shows without too much of a problem. Season 2 of “American Crime Story” about Hurricane Katrina is still in the relatively-early stages, so that should make things a little bit easier.
One of the things that probably makes all of this even more tricky and interesting is that “American Horror Story” continues to keep almost everything about its upcoming season completely under wraps. We don’t know the theme, the setting, or even the full cast just yet, and that may remain that way until we get to the season 6 premiere next month.
For now, what’s your take on Paulson doing yet another show? Do you think that “Scream Queens” should be next just so that she can be on every Murphy show possible? Share below.
