‘Pretty Little Liars’ season 7 spoilers: Julian Morris to (finally!) return as Wren

Pretty Little Liars

Wren has always been an interesting character within the pantheon of “Pretty Little Liars,” largely because he occupies this unique space of the guy always accused to be behind shady stuff, only for it to never turn out to be the case. Remember when there were elaborate theories that he was actually Charles DiLaurentis? That didn’t quite work out.

For now, we’re just happy to report per Entertainment Weekly that Julian Morris will be returning in some capacity for the second half of the season. It’s not confirmed how long he will be around, but this is his first appearance on the show in years and hopefully it leads to getting a chance to learn more about whatever connections he has to all of this A.D. nonsense. Remember that at one point, he was coloring a picture of Red Coat; unless the guy really just likes coloring books, doesn’t that have to mean something?

Morris’ return is one of many that we’re seeing for longtime recurring roles in what could be the final season. We’ve already seen Tammin Sursok, Lindsey Shaw, and Brant Daugherty come back as Jenna, Paige, and Noel, respectively, and there are many more to come before we get to the end of the series. Heck, we’re even going all the way back to Aria’s old friend and pretend love-interest Holden for a little while.

The second half of season 7 will more than likely premiere at some point in January, and of course even more will become clear as we start to wrap things up this summer.
