‘The Last Ship’ season 3, episode 11 preview: Chandler’s showdown and more in ‘Legacy’

The third season of “The Last Ship” is starting to come to a close, and as we approach the finale, there are a few things that you can expect. One of the biggest ones should be clear to everyone out there at this point: We’re going to see everything come to a head with Chandler as he tries to figure out if he can go home, or if that home would even welcome him given the political turnaround and all of the turmoil there. The promo below makes it a little bit clearer that he may not have a country anymore…

While we cannot say too much at present about next week’s new episode “Legacy” just yet, we can at least tell you this: Chandler will have a face-to-face showdown the likes of which he hasn’t had yet this season. Oh, and it’ll probably be awesome.

As for the other main story of the episode, the TNT synopsis teases that Kara could find a metaphorical life preserver who can lend a helping hand with her mission. We’ll have to see if that works for her, but at this point, she really is one of the select few who can turn the tide (with a little bit of help of course).

In the end, whatever happens in these episodes should set up the events of the finale in fine fashion, and we’re really excited to start to highlight some of that and break it all down. Given that the show has already been renewed for a fourth season, you can rest assured that the show will probably do what it can to help built towards that.
