‘Halt and Catch Fire’ season 3 video: Lee Pace, Mackenzie Davis, cast talk what’s ahead

With the third season of “Halt and Catch Fire” coming your way to AMC on Tuesday, now feels like the right time to share a few more details about the story ahead and all of it is coming from the people responsible for making the show.

In the video below, you can see executive producers Chris Cantwell and Chris C. Rogers lead off a discussion as to the new themes and plotlines that are being devised now that our main characters are heading off in to a very new world in Silicon Valley. Mutiny is more of a successful company than ever before, and that’s great news for Donna (Kerry Bishe) and Cameron (Mackenzie Davis) as they each try to keep the business moving in the right direction.

However, there are of course going to be problems that the two of them face, including heavy competition and also mounting pressure to stay ahead of the curve. They are also still a small fish in a big pond, competing against corporate titans who have a lot lot more in the way of resources at their disposal. That certainly does help to make this a less-than-balanced competition. In the video below, Bishe and Davis dish on what some of these stories will contain.

Meanwhile, you can see Lee Pace and Scoot McNairy also discuss the future of Joe and Gordon; while the former does not necessarily appear to be directly tied to what is going on with Mutiny at present, at the same time you have to remember that he somehow does often find a way to get roped into schemes. He’s got a big one at the start of the season in terms of a security company; it’ll be all about evolution from there on out.
