‘NCIS’ season 14: See new photos of Jennifer Esposito, Wilmer Valderrama, Duane Henry

The 14th season of “NCIS” is going to be coming up on CBS before long this fall, so what better way is there to prepare for it than by checking out even more new photos of the show’s newbies?

Earlier this week, the network formally released their first photos of Jennifer Esposito and Wilmer Valderrama, and also presented at the same time a new image of returning character Clayton Reeves (Duane Henry). You will see both Esposito and Valderrama right away during the upcoming premiere as the show prepares to move on from the departure of Michael Weatherly at the end of this past season. Meanwhile, you’ll have to wait for a few episodes in order for Henry to return.

Unfortunately, these photos don’t really do much in terms of offering up any new details about who these actors will be playing. For now, what we know is that Wilmer is a longtime agent who has spent a significant amount of time undercover, and is now coming back in hopes of further assimilating himself back into the proper NCIS family. Meanwhile, Esposito is a former field agent turned instructor who could be persuaded by Gibbs to join the team once more after a series of struggles to find someone who functions as a perfect replacement.

As we’ve stated before, we don’t want or need these characters to be replacements in any way for Weatherly. So long as they prove to be entertaining, we figure that we’ll be happy for the most part in the end.
