‘Power’ season 3, episode 6 preview: Will the truth set Ghost, Angela free?
At the end of this past episode of “Power,” some worlds have crumbled, whereas others have started to come roaring back.
Clearly, the world that has started to re-form is the relationship between Ghost and Tommy, which is great for them given just how terribly damaged it was. They’ve put together some of the bricks, but the problem lies with this: The other part of Tommy’s world has crumbled in the process. his rage took over and he killed Holly over what he felt was a crippling betrayal when she said what she did against Ghost. He doesn’t know what to do now, but it absolutely feels like he’s never going to be able to turn on Ghost again. These two may be in lockstep for life.
In looking beyond the Ghost / Tommy of it all, the Ghost / Angela could also be under the microscope in this hour. If she learns about what he and Tommy are planning to do with Lobos, provided they find him, what will she do? Will he fess up to some of his plans, and that this particular persona is far from dead, after all? It feels clear that there are still many moving parts, and Ghost’s latest mission could go any direction and produce a number of unsaid consequences.
In the end, we simply imagine that the story is going to remain explosive. Don’t forget: Kanan is also still out there, and rest assured he is a problem that still need to be dealt with.
