‘Murder in the First’ season 3, episode 8 video: A new Normandy Parker suspect surfaces
So far through season 3, “Murder in the First” has been a show to take its time through its three separate narratives: The murder of Normandy Parker, the relationship of Terry and Hildy, and then also the trial of Siletti. There has been some progress made in each one of the plots, but none have come to a head just yet. Maybe that’ll start to change as we move into Sunday night’s new episode.
This installment is entitled “Daddy Dearest,” and let’s just say there is a perfectly good reason for that given that their new #1 suspect may be the father of someone extremely close to Normady. When Hildy approaches them for information to suss them out further, it doesn’t go too well. Is he being protected, or is this just the action of someone who believes their father isn’t quite capable of such an act?
Beyond this moment, we wouldn’t say that you are looking at the most informative promo in the history of television. With that, let’s go ahead and and discuss further the other stories of the hour.
Terry and Hildy – After a series of bumps in the road, expect Taye Diggs’ character to try and patch things up. Hopefully it’ll stick, and hopefully it is meaningful enough to stick.
Siletti – As if things were not rough enough for him already at trial, an emotional witness is going to come into the courtroom. Their testimony could be enough for the prosecution to further sink the character, unless of course someone can come up with a curveball…
