‘Mistresses’ season 4 spoilers: ‘Fight or Fight’ leads, of course, to fighting

Relationship drama is the soup du jour of “Mistresses”: You know it’s coming. Sometimes it’s tasty, and at other points, it’s frustrating and you wonder why they don’t bring back the good stuff! Sometimes, you know the good stuff is coming and you’re frustrated that they don’t just give it to you.

When it comes to the Marc / April relationship, we certainly share the latter sentiment. There’s little evidence out there that there is another pairing that will satisfy as many fans, and yet they’re on-and-off, hot-and-cold, and frustrating. The two are over for now, but on the August 29 episode entitled “Fight or Flight,” we’re going to see her try to win him back. Will that work? Well … there aren’t any guarantees. Given that this isn’t the finale, we’d be silly to think that the episode ends in a big, romantic moment where they come crashing into one another’s arms.
