‘Criminal Minds’ season 12: Shemar Moore wishes Thomas Gibson ‘the best,’ says ‘karma’ video misinterpreted

Criminal Minds Derek Morgan

When Shemar Moore first posted a video on social media this weekend talking about “karma” and treating people the right way, we cautioned that it may not have to do with his former “Criminal Minds” co-star Thomas Gibson. Now, that definitely seems to be the case.

In the video below (via “Entertainment Tonight“), you can hear Moore tell a paparazzo that the comments, which he deleted not long after posting them, were misinterpreted (which is probably why he deleted said video in the first place). More than likely these comments were geared towards a former guest star on the show who allegedly took advantage of the actor to the tune of $60,000; a court is now forcing him to repay the actor.

Ultimately, it appears that there is no long-standing feud between Moore and Gibson, as he wishes the recently-fired actor “the best” in all of his future ventures. As we’ve previously reported, Gibson will be written out following the second episode, a move that comes after claims he kicked a writer for the series while out on set directing. It is possible that Moore could return to the series at some point in the future for a guest spot, but there is no word on that happening as of yet. For now, just rejoice in the fact that another “Criminal Minds” alum in Paget Brewster is coming back for an arc.

Hopefully, this video at least puts one part of the controversy to bed. We’ll have some further insight on the show and its future soon over at this link, so be sure to head over there and check the coverage out right now.
