‘Once Upon a Time’ season 6 spoilers: How Snow’s past could come back to bite her

“Once Upon a Time” is often a show about change, and at the same time, it also happens to be one about consequences. Magic comes with a price, and by the same token, if you do something in the past, there’s a good chance that it could find its way to impact the present.

For Snow White and Prince Charming, this could be a key component of their story in the sixth season. There was a time of course when Regina was the Evil Queen in the Enchanted Forest, and Snow would have done anything to take her down a peg and protect those she cared about. It’s with that in mind that we get the following tease via co-creator Adam Horowitz to TVLine:

“Snow’s history with Regina comes back to haunt her and Charming as a plan set in motion years ago by the Evil Queen comes to dangerous fruition in present-day Storybrooke.”

Intrigued? We know we are, since we always do like it when we see a little more of Snow’s devious side, even if it stems more from something done years beforehand. She may have a challenge trying to undo this given that as far as she knows, Regina has changed. Then again, what could complicate this further is the return of the Evil Queen, who split from Regina at the end of season 5. If this version of Lana Parrilla starts to terrorize the town, will Snow not know the difference and think her past plan is justified? It’s certainly something to watch.
