‘The Walking Dead’ season 7 video: Dwight surveys the field

The new season of “The Walking Dead” is coming to AMC in October, and we know that there are some violent events coming up. After all, how else do you describe what exactly we’re going to be seeing from Negan in the opening minutes?

While this is a heck of an intense cliffhanger, at the same time it also puts the network in a tricky pickle when it comes to promoting the show’s future. Why is that? Well, it simply ties back to the fact that they can’t give anything away about what happens in this story, and as a result of that they can’t actually tease a whole lot else.

This is why the sneak peek below for the premiere episode doesn’t give anything away at all when it comes to Rick, Daryl, or any of the survivors there. Instead, it plants more of the focus on Dwight and a motorcycle, surveying the field and seeing some walkers. In terms of plot, there’s not exactly a whole lot here that we would consider to be particularly interesting; yet, at the same exact time this is quite a wonder to look at visually, and there is a little bit of excitement that goes along with that.

Hopefully, we’ll get some further scoop, and consequently have some more information to share, on the seventh season as time passes.
