‘Rizzoli & Isles’ season 7, episode 11 preview: The story for Angie Harmon, Sasha Alexander in ‘Stiffed’
By the end of Monday night’s new episode of “Rizzoli & Isles,” one thing will certainly be clear: We are almost to the end of the show as we know it. We’re starting to see some signs of that on the show, mostly in how everyone is starting to think more so in terms of an end date. You can see it in their interactions, and also their plans for the future. There are only three more episodes left to try and wrap things up.
The title for the next new episode is “Stiffed,” and this certainly has a premise that could prove to be interesting, if not a little creepy when it comes to the case of the week. If you haven’t seen the synopsis for this episode just yet, you can see that below:
“A mortician’s body is discovered in one of his own funeral home’s caskets, leading our team into the world of embalming, interment, and ultimately, serial murder. Tommy Rizzoli (recurring guest star Colin Egglesfield) visits with his son TJ (guest star Cooper Fontaine), and considers returning to Boston for good. Jane’s loved ones react to her news.”
While there is probably going to be some sort of storyline in here that carries into the last two, it also feels like there’ll be somewhat of a standalone component, as well. This is a show that seems to know its audience and what they like rather well, and there is virtually zero inclination that they are planning to change that as they move a little bit closer into the future.

I don’t think TNT et al do know their audience at all. If they did they wouldn’t be splitting up Jane and Maura with Jane going off to Quantico..as Sasha has disclosed in recent interviews.
TNT and TeamNash have ruined R&I. If they knew their fans they would at least keep them in the same city not 100’s of miles apart…Stupid Kevin Reilly making them change the show, hopeless showrunner, hopeless writers, none of them have a clue what made the show successful in the first place..Jane and Maura ..who should have remained up front and centre ..the core relationship…the core of the show.
What have we now ..boring B character stories ..no one is interested in magic tricks and ducks and the distancing of the title characters. Total madness!!!
I am utterly disgusted with them.
