‘Pretty Little Liars’ season 7, episode 8 video: How Emily and Paige reunite

Are Emily and Paige endgame on “Pretty Little Liars“? We’re not entirely sure that we’d say that, mostly because fan enthusiasm seems to be pointing the two in a very different direction. (Specifically, we’re looking in terms of Emily and Alison.)

Yet, at the same time we do think that the two have some unfinished business to attend to, and we’re glad that she’ll be back starting on Thursday night for that. When Paige moved, she did so out of circumstances and her relationship with Emily never really had much of an end point. That may change here.

In the sneak peek below, you can see Shay Mitchell and Lindsey Shaw’s characters reunite, albeit in a fairly unintentional fashion over a swim coach position that they are both applying for. We’re not altogether sure that Emily even knew she was in town, which may make this reunion all the more interesting. After all, why wouldn’t Paige make that clear? Then again, maybe she thought that Emily wasn’t in town, and there was no point in trying. Or, maybe it’s just that situation where you don’t want to necessarily look up your ex when a substantial amount of time has passed since the end of your relationship.

Hopefully, we’ll get a little bit more information on Tuesday regarding what is coming up next for the two of them; we’d certainly be surprised if this is just a one-episode return for Paige. There are still more than ten left in the season. (There’s still no word on if this is the final year of the show.)
