‘Big Brother 18’ review: Victor’s big move; Paulie’s crashing game

Paulie -On Sunday night’s “Big Brother,” Paulie’s game was effectively exposed to pretty much all America. We don’t imagine that many of them are going to be fans.

The biggest thing we give producers credit for is openly showing some of the mean and misogynistic things that he has been saying, specifically attacking Natalie for her plastic surgery and also repeatedly reducing her to a stereotype. It’s going to be hard for him when he gets out of the house and realizes that she’s a million times more popular than she is, especially after tonight.

We don’t want to spend this whole episode talking about the personal-attacks side of the equation, mostly because we are ultimately here to discuss more of the game side of things. Paulie’s biggest mistake was not only being incredibly rude, but also getting extremely cocky and threatening. The way that he spoke to Natalie is the primary reason why James eventually turned on him and decided to make the move. It’s also why Paul and Victor were so influenced. You have to endear yourself to people in the game, which is what the majority of the past winners have done. People felt good about them getting money at the end of the game.

As feedsters know, Victor won Head of Household and nominated both Corey and Paulie. Here were a couple of fun observations from the show…

  1. We’re totally loving that Paul competed in the Head of Household Competition still wearing that stupid floaty. He should wear it all the way until the end of the game and then leave the house still wearing it.
  2. We’re still shocked Nicole got the Care Package, but remember that most of the voting took place before the Double Eviction.
  3. We wish Victor had thrown more beads at people.
