‘Beauty and the Beast’ season 4, episode 11 video: Another break; a ‘suicide mission’

If you enjoy watching “Beauty and the Beast” on The CW, we do have some rather-sad news coming up in the form of yet another break. The series is going on a one-week hiatus once more, with the reasoning for it seeming to be twofold:

1. The Olympics – Who in the world wants to go up against that? Obviously the Games are a huge ratings draw, and while this series may be in its final season, you still don’t want to deal with that as competition if possible.

2. Stretching out the season over the summer – The CW clearly wants to keep the show around until programming starts on other networks.  This is certainly a way to do just that.

The promo below does give you a small sense of what to expect from “Meet the New Beast,” a title that makes us think of The Who’s famous “meet the new boss, same as the old boss” line. This video hints at a potential “suicide mission,” which of course makes us worried … but not too worried since this is not the series finale and killing off a main character now would be the ultimate dagger in the heart.

What we know about this episode mostly stems from the end of Thursday’s installment, where it was revealed that there is yet another beast out there that Cat and Vincent are going to have to take on in some way. This upcoming story should be about formulating a strategy, and also learning precisely who this Beast even is.
