‘The Bachelor’ spoilers: Did show creator drop huge Luke Pell clue?

Luke -Are we closer than ever to learning the identity of the next Bachelor? It certainly feels as though we’ve got now one of the strongest clues that we’ve had to date about the mystery man’s identity, and it is all courtesy of show creator Mike Fleiss.

In the post on Twitter below, the creator posted what certainly looks like Yoda as the latest clue to who the next male lead could be. Given that “Luke, I am your father” is one of the most famous clues in the “Star Wars” universe (and there is no prominent character named Chase), we have to think of this as the latest bit of evidence that Luke Pell is going to get the gig. If this happens, it’s precisely what we’ve anticipated for most of the summer.

With that being said, we certainly wouldn’t be shocked if there is another clue or two that points more to Chase McNary. Fleiss, like many other producers on “The Bachelor,” is a master of promotion. He knows a thing or two about how to get people talking about the show even when it’s not on the air. Granted, “Bachelor in Paradise” is currently on the air, but we don’t really think that the connections between the two show are the sort that are so obvious that you’ll see a lot of Luke / Chase chatter on Monday night.

We anticipate that a formal announcement is probably coming within a few weeks; heck, we wouldn’t be shocked if it came about during an “After Paradise” episode since you could get the next lead there in studio to talk about the journey ahead.
