‘Big Brother 18’ live feed spoilers: Chatter before the Veto Competition

Michelle -

We’re assuming that the Power of Veto Competition is taking place at some point today in the “Big Brother” house, but before we get around to that, we figured that we’d go ahead and give you a little bit of the action that took place on a surprisingly eventful morning.

Following the Veto players being picked (Victor, the two nominees in Paulie and Corey, Nicole, Paul, and James), Paulie did his best to scramble with James, telling him that he could come back and work with himself and Corey. He also tried to call out Victor and Paul for making side deals with him, but that didn’t work so well given that James knows that Paulie has been making these sort of deals with pretty much everyone. He told Paulie what he wanted to hear to his face, but made it clear later on that he wasn’t buying any of it.

Meanwhile, Victor and Paul have tried to prepare themselves for the Veto while also occasionally mentioning Paulie’s miscues here and there, hoping to rattle him somewhat before the competition. It’s a good short-term strategy if it works, but if it doesn’t and Paulie wins they may be up the creek given that they’re not really doing the best job of thinking ahead.

Here is where we give Michelle some credit: She had a lengthy conversation with Nicole about squashing some of the beef that they’ve had, and also the Executives alliance that threatened to get together and run the house. Nicole is keeping her options somewhat open, realizing that there’s a good chance Corey is gone this week. Meanwhile, Michelle wants to ensure that Nicole comes over to her rather than Paul / Victor, who are a little too confident that they can get her on board.

The Veto is currently underway, so we’ll be back later with the results!
