‘Zoo’ season 2, episode 9 video: Abraham’s in danger; also, when horses attack

Tuesday night’s new episode of “Zoo” ended with quite the powerful cliffhanger, as Jackson realized that his mother was behind a massacre at a village in Africa. What does this mean? Based on the evidence that we’ve seen, she may have been injected with the same exact thing that he was.

In the video below from Tuesday night’s new episode (entitled “Sins of the Father”), you can see that searching for her is going to be a top priority for Jackson. If he finds her, he’s going to have to try and assess her condition … and in the process of that, make one of the most important decisions of his life.

As for what else you can expect to see on this episode, this preview certainly makes it seem as though the virus could lead to another casualty, and that Abraham is in some pretty serious danger. Also, there’s a horse attack … mostly just because (which is how it is with this show). We’re not entirely sure that any other show on TV is as adept at making something both ridiculous and compelling at the same time. “Zoo” tends to nail this through and through each week.

Given that we’ve already lost Chloe this season, we’re really hoping not to lose anyone else important. If this was the end of the series this summer, maybe we’d feel a little differently about that because we know there isn’t much story left. Since we know there’s at least one more season beyond this one after CBS’ renewal earlier this week, we’re a little more inclined to cross our fingers and hope to see everyone make it out in one piece.
