‘The Bachelor’ spoilers: Creator could announce Luke Pell – Chase McNary choice on Twitter
We’re now three episodes in to this season of “Bachelor in Paradise,” and there is still no answer to one question on the minds of many: Who is going to be the next Bachelor? Of course, everyone is insanely curious as to the choice, even if we’re about 99.9% confident it is between Luke Pell and Chase McNary at this point. We’re not seeing anyone else really even register.
In a new post on Twitter today, creator Mike Fleiss claimed that he will be announcing the new Bachelor on his Twitter account. That doesn’t necessarily mean that it will be the first place to announce it, but we figure Fleiss is going to know before anyone else, right? Heck, we figure that they’ve already got a pretty good idea who it is going to be. We imagine that his reveal could coincide with an airing of “After Paradise” or some other big venue where the announcement could be made to generate some ratings.
While we’ve heard little rumors here and there that Chase could be the guy, there’s a part of us that thinks this is all a big smokescreen, something that this show is excellent at producing. For example, remember those brief Nick Viall rumors last summer to take us off the scent of Ben Higgins being the guy, or when Arie Luyendyk Jr. was supposedly going to be picked over Chris Soules? It benefits the show for there to be some competition, since it rallies the fans on social media and has them discussing who they want for the next Bachelor to be.
Ultimately, we still feel like it’s going to be Luke, and that he had the perfect story on “The Bachelorette” to set that up. We’ll see what happens…
