‘Supernatural’ star Jensen Ackles, wife Danneel Harris expecting twins
Mrs. Carter: The “Supernatural” family is about to get two extra members!
As first reported by People Magazine, series star Jensen Ackles and his wife Danneel Harris Ackles are expecting twins later this year! A son and a daughter will join their family; the two parents already have a three-year old daughter named Justice Jay a.k.a. JJ. Jensen and Danneel have been married since 2010.
This news is coming at a rather busy time for Ackles, given that production for season 12 of the long-running CW hit began earlier this summer. This news does also help to further explain why he opted against directing an early episode as he has done the past couple of seasons; obviously, time is a little bit at a premium in his life at present. Hopefully, he’ll get a chance to break away and spend some time with the family over the course of the holidays.
To go along with the news, Jensen shared the photo below on his Instagram page, teasing that there are some “crazy times ahead.” We know that Dean Winchester has conquered many opponents on “Supernatural” over the years, but his next great obstacle could be doing so while the actor behind the role has little to no sleep. Congratulations to the happy couple, and here’s to hoping to a fun and joyous time when the babies arrive! We can only imagine the sort of preparations that are already being made.
