‘The Originals’ season 4 spoilers: ‘Teen Wolf’ actor cast in romantic role

Curious to get some other news when it comes to “The Originals“? We come bearing great news in the casting department.

Per a new report from TVLine, Keahu Kahuanui of “Teen Wolf” fame has been brought in on the upcoming fourth season of the CW series as a love interest for Josh named Eddie. He is (shocker!) a human without supernatural abilities, and he actually doesn’t want them. He is aware of the vampire world, but really has other priorities and things on his mind. He’s described as being “sexy” and “funny,” and apparently knows a lot about random stuff. Hopefully, he can be a solid source of some comic relief during a show that obviously has some serious moments, and is especially coming off a really serious arc that included everything from Cami’s second death to many of the Mikaelsons spending a significant amount of time in coffins.

Unfortunately, you are still going to have to wait a significant amount of time yourself for the fourth season to premiere. While the final “Vampire Diaries” season is starting up in the fall, you won’t be getting a chance to see Joseph Morgan and company presumably until midseason. While it’s possible that could change, we don’t want to bank on anything until it happens.

For now, the primary thing we know story-wise is that we’re going to see a slightly-older version of Hope, and in giving us that, both the child, Hayley, and eventually Klaus could deal with a very different set of circumstances than before.
