‘NCIS’ season 14 spoilers: First details on upcoming premiere
If you find yourselves interested in getting some further news when it comes to “NCIS” season 14, rest assured that CBS came to your rescue today! As a part of their panel at the TCA Summer Press Tour, the network made it clear precisely what some of the stories are going to be for many of their different shows.
For this particular series, of course we assumed that the show was going to emphasize some of its new characters. Here is what we can tell you at present.
- A car explosion leads Gibbs and company to NCIS Special Agent Nick Torres, the character played by Wilmer Valderrama. He has previously disappeared six months beforehand while on a deep-cover mission.
- Meanwhile, Jennifer Esposito will join the cast as NCIS Special Agent Alex Quinn, who is asked to take a look at the team after spending much of the past few years in more of a teaching role. The problem is that Gibbs has formed a habit of rejecting frequent DiNozzo replacements.
Duane Henry will also be returning in the episode as Clayton Reeves, but given that his character was already introduced at the end of season 13, the network likely feels a little less pressure to give him some sort of debut stuffed to the brim with pomp and circumstance. Since we already know him (and rather like him, we might add), we may see the series take more of their time when it comes to properly integrating him into the world.
