MTV’s ‘Scream’ season 2, episode 11 reaction: Emma, Audrey’s frame job; another death
When you remember that Tuesday night’s new episode of “Scream” is the second-to-last one we’re going to get over the course of the season, it was fair to expect that things were going to go down in crazy fashion. This can be thought even more so when you look at the trail of bodies that the show has left in its wake, including the shocking end to the Zoe character.
The first thing we gotta say here is rather clear: Going to an abandoned house was a bad idea for Emma and Audrey. You know what else was a bad idea? Splitting up. Who thought that would be effective? We’d have an army of about eight or nine people around us at all times to ensure that nothing went awry.
Ultimately, though, the killer took a slightly different tactic in this episode, one where they opted to try to frame Emma and Audrey rather than kill them. Given that they were literally caught red-handed, it was fairly easy to assume that this plan would work.
As for who the deceased was with this particular frame job, it was … Brooke’s dad, a.k.a. the Mayor. Clearly, the Killer seems to have no problem cutting her off from almost every single person that she cares about. Also, they don’t discriminate based on age, gender, or race; it’s all about removing problems from the equation. Nothing seems to be going great for any of our main characters right now, but hey, the finale’s in one week. Isn’t there hope they could turn it around?
