‘Mr. Robot’ season 2, episode 6 preview: Elliot’s status; Angela’s work

In right around 10 hours the latest “Mr. Robot” episode will arrive on USA, and with that, we could see Angela undergo one of her most dangerous missions to date. You cannot teach someone to hack overnight, just as you cannot teach someone to suddenly swim. Yet, what happens when you throw them into the ocean with nary a life vest in sight? What do they do to survive? This could be a theme for Angela’s story on Wednesday night’s new episode.

After viewing the promo below a few times over, we certainly hope that someone has some of those signature positive affirmations nearby.

Elsewhere in this episode, Elliot’s recovery could be the name of the game after we saw him brutally beaten on this past episode as the Man Who Knew Too Much. The problem here is that it’s not exactly easy to have someone forget something that they have already learned, so there could be a challenge that rises in that department over the course of the hour. Meanwhile, we also presume there could be a challenge for Elliot post-recovery to reassemble what he was working on, or avoid any future interactions with those who wronged him so terribly this time around.

In the end, we imagine that the missions in this episode will leave a seismic impact, regardless of their success rate. We also hope that they, in one odd way or another, work to bring everyone together. Aside from small conversations, Elliot does remain a man very much on his own island.
