Remember back in “Big Brother 16” when Nicole determined that Derrick was Dan, and not too long after that was dispatched out of the house? Well, we’re seeing something both similar and different with Natalie on “Big Brother 18.”
Tonight, Natalie had a lengthy conversation with James, and in the process there were a few different things that were revealed. First, she made it clear that she feels that Paulie is running the game, and that he is controlling a variety of people, whether it be Corey, Paul, or Bridgette. She also was frustrated because she felt that Nicole, James, and Paulie all had “training” from Derrick going into the game, and that allows them to have an unfair advantage. (We don’t quite agree with that — people still have to play in the game to get what they want.)
So while Natalie has now figured some of this out, is there anything that she can do about it? That’s where the problem lies here, since so much of Paulie is insulated because of the Executives around it. It doesn’t matter if you think an alliance is real so much as if the people around you do, and some of these guys think it’s real and will probably stick to it.
Also, there’s the other issue of competitions. We do think that either she or maybe even James would take a shot at this point, but they have to get into power. James has won an endurance competition so far, but these two and whoever stays in the house this week (that continues to fluctuate) don’t exactly have a huge winning track record.
