‘The Fosters’ season 4, episode 7 video: Jesus expresses concern over Gabe

So far on “The Fosters” season 4, we’ve seen Jesus go through quite a lot when it comes to his biological father Gabe, whether it be trying to get his name off the registry to trying to establish a relationship. Through and through, this has proven itself to be challenging. As well-intentioned as Gabe may be, the reality is that he still doesn’t know this guy that well.

In the sneak peek below, you can see Jesus doing what he can to figure out why Gabe hasn’t been showing off to work on a remodel for Stef and Lena, and he claims that his health has been a factor. Typically, someone who really wants to get the job done will call in advance and make their ailing health clear, so it is fair to question what is going on here that is keeping this from going down.

Freeform has already teased that this story will have a somewhat difficult end: Gabe is going to try and take over the project himself, and in turn, ends up hurting himself. How serious is it? That’s something we’ll have to wait until the episode airs to find out, but we wouldn’t be shocked to see Jesus pushing himself to an extreme level to try and cover for his father. After all, he does want the best for him, even if Gabe may not always want the best for himself.
