‘Real Housewives of Orange County’ preview: Vicki Gunvalson makes amends to Meghan King Edmonds

So far, this has been the season of apologies on “The Real Housewives of Orange County” — or at least the season of Vicki Gunvalson trying to make apologies. There’s never a guarantee that they will be accepted.

There’s a big party coming on the next new episode (which is airing on August 15), and that is probably enough to make some people shake in their boots. Anytime there’s a party, it is almost a guarantee that things are going to go haywire. Sushi is the theme here, and also Meghan King Edmonds having one last bash before she gets pregnant. She’s been preparing for that the majority of the season to date.

In the new sneak peek for the episode over here, you can see Vicki trying to actually make amends with Meghan over everything that’s happened so far — and there’s been quite a bit of drama over the past season and a half. It does seem as though the two are on slightly better terms than they were previously, but let’s be real: There’s a difference between being friends and being on the same page enough that you don’t want to scream at each other.

There’s still a lot of time left this season; with that in mind, it’s fair to expect a wide array of drama to come the rest of the way. We certainly know more is coming soon when it comes to Kelly at the party. (The synopsis mentions her “losing her cool.”)
